Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler

Everything in Ivy's life was going somewhat decent until her boyfriend, Tristan, dies in a car accident. She was devastated and thought that she had lost everything- even her faith in angels. After several strange incidents with her friends, she's discovered that he has become her guardian angel. His presence is so strong that she can feel the touch of his hand once more, the beat of his heart, the softness of his lips. Ivy needs Tristan now more than ever because he knows that she's in grave danger. Only he can save her from the fury of his killer. However, if Tristan rescues Ivy, his mission on earth will be completed, and he will have to leave her behind to the world of the living while he moved on to the world of the dead. Is Tristan willing to save Ivy, even though it means losing her when he's just finally reached her once more?

I loved this book. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Actually, it's a trilogy but the copy I own is all three amazing books put together as one big book. So, really, it's Kissed by an Angel (230 pages), The Power of Love (225 pages), and Soulmates (235 pages). But either way, the books are amazing. On the front cover it says, "An unforgettable trilogy of romance and suspense" and that is certainly what it is. It's a very quick read and once you start reading it, don't be surprised if you can't set it down. I highly recommend reading it if you enjoy romance/mystery/and adventure. Out of five stars, I give it a ten.

Hello... Again.

I must apologize for my lack of commitment. Plus, I've been so busy with my freshman year in high school (so glad it's over!) and I haven't been able to do much else besides school work and band. But that's hardly any excuse. I will try my very hardest to post on my blog daily and continue what I've started. :)

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

One rainy night, Meggie's father, Mo, reads aloud from Inkheart, and a cruel, evil ruler named Capricorn along with his knife happy henchman, Basta, and Dustfinger, a man with nothing but a scared face, an old backpack, and a horned marten, escape the boundaries of fiction and land in their living room. Suddenly Meggie and Mo are smack in the middle of the kind of adventure that only can be read in books. They attempt to escape to the horridly real nightmare but are imprisoned instead. Meggie discovers the gift her father has and also finds out where her mother really disappeared off to. Meggie, Mo, and their relative Elinor get caught up in the fantasy they never would have thought to be possible. Meggie learns how to cope with their sticky situation and how to harness the magic that her father has conjured up.

I found this book verrrry enjoyable to read. It's basically about a girl who loves to read it's very easy to be able to relate to that. It's 534 pages in the paperback edition and it's a quick paced book. Highly recommended for those who like adventure and for any one who has wished they could be in a books' story. Out of five stars, I'd give it five stars.

Hello!

Hello, all you bloggers out there!! :)
Just a little hello before I begin my blogging career.
I plan to kinda follow my mom's footsteps and review books I've read recently or in the past. So just a little heads up. Naturally, I won't just write about books...just mainly about them. So...yeah.
Just letting you know what this is all about. :)
Happy holidays!!
